Warm water species (Bass, Bluegill, Catfish, Crappie, Perch and Sunfish) are found in most lakes except as noted.
Ice fishing is not allowed on any of Thornton’s lakes.
No swimming, wading or boating is allowed except as noted below:
Park Lake – paddle boats are available to
Nature Area – no fishing allowed
Ponds x 4 – minimum size for bass is 15”
Creek Park Pond
Lakes x 2 – open March 15 to October 31.
Hours are sunrise to sunset.
Glen Lake – non motorized boats allowed
