We provide advice to Thornton residents concerning their landscapes and the plants associated with them. We design, select, plant and maintain trees, shrubs, perennial and annual flowers in the City of Thornton park system using the best available horticultural information and technology.

Bloodgood London Planetree

The London Planetree has been found to thrive in urban conditions and provides wonderful shade.  This is a moderate growing large tree that can grow 75 to 100 foot in height and provides a crown that is up to 80' wide.  Give this tree space to grow and enjoy its unique brown bark which exfoliates in irregular pieces to reveal creamy white inner bark. This tree will produce sphereical fruit in pairs which can be up to 1 3/8" inches in diameter which will persist on the tree into early winter.
