Classes
The Thornton Senior Center offers several types of fitness
classes to meet your exercise needs at any level. We offer a variety of drop in
classes, as well as classes that you sign up for monthly. Call 303-255-7850 for more

Yoga
Yoga will help open new energy levels for achieving health, relaxation, physical
harmony and peace of mind. Class will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from
2 – 3 p.m.
Dress comfortably.
Instructor: Jinger Stuckey
Seniorcize
Instructor, Linda Maj, will get your day started
on the right foot in this low impact, geared towards senior fitness class.
She uses a wide variety of techniques and exercises to get you in shape
to stay healthy. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:30-10:30am.
Drop-in
Chair Fitness
This drop-in exercise class is designed for individuals who may have limited
ability to exercise. Participants receive instruction while sitting in a chair
to improve flexibility, strength, coordination and cardiovascular fitness.
Instructor: Linda Maj. Wednesday and Friday, 10:30-11:15am.
Specialty Workshops
Improve core strength, balance, fight osteoporosis, learn exercises you can do at home, work or the
gym, and more! Workshops times, instructors, and dates vary.
