The Thornton Senior Center has a variety of rooms that may be rented for meetings and private functions.

The per hour cost of renting the facility includes the cost of a staff person, which is a requirement for all rentals. Set-up and cleanup times must be included in the starting and ending time of your rental.

Weekday rentals of any classroom or the library are only available after 3:00 p.m.

The rental does not include use of the kitchen appliances and utensils. Kitchen counter space, sinks, and a small refrigerator are available when renting the multipurpose room. To reserve a room, a City of Thornton Facility Agreement form must be completed, as well as payment of the facility damage deposit. If you plan to serve alcohol, you must complete an application for a City of Thornton Alcohol Permit. Applications for alcohol permits must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the rental date. Full payment is due for all rentals at least 30 days prior to the rental date. Facility rental applications/agreements may be picked up at any City of Thornton recreation facility.
