Racquetball
Reservations There are three racquetball courts at the Margaret W. Carpenter
Recreation Center, and all are available for racquetball and wally ball.
Two courts are scheduled on the hour, one court is schedule on the half
hour. There is no additional fee for use of the courts. Reservations
will be accepted three days in advance, by phone or in person, during
all operational hours.
If plans change, we ask that you please call and cancel at least two
hours prior to your scheduled court time. Reservations will be
considered canceled if the party fails to show up 10 minutes after the

Drop-In Racquetball Challenge Courts
Ages 18 and Up Three courts are reserved on Wednesday nights, 7 p.m.-10 p.m. and
Saturday mornings, 9 a.m. - Noon, for
drop-in singles and doubles challenge play. Winners stay on for a
maximum of three games. Sign-up list is first-come, first-served
starting at 6:45 p.m. (8:45 a.m. on Saturdays) Participants pay appropriate drop-in fee.
Wallyball Play volleyball on a racquetball court! This exciting sport is an
excellent game for all ages and abilities. Rules are available at the
front desk. Call 303-255-7800 to reserve a court. All equipment
is provided with payment of drop-in admission.
Private
Racquetball Lessons
Ages 5 and Up
One-on-one instruction is available at the Recreation Center on an
instructor/court-available basis for students of all ages and skill
levels. Participants fill out a private lesson request form and an
instructor will call back to arrange a suitable time when courts are

$50 for three lessons
Semiprivate (2 - 3) Fee: $25 per 60-minute session
$60 for three sessions.
Junior Group Racquetball Lessons
Ages 8 - 17 Group lessons are offered to
boys and girls ages 8 -17 on Tuesday nights at the Recreation
Center. Students are taught the fundamentals of this exciting,
fast-paced sport which focuses on getting a great workout while having a

Adult Group Racquetball Lessons
Ages 16 and Up Racquetball is a
lightning-fast game requiring quick reactions, good eye-hand
coordination and endurance. This coed class highlights the fundamentals
of the game. Classes meets once a week (Thursdays) for four weeks. Location: Recreation Center
