About Us

The Parks Division is responsible for the general maintenance of parks, trails, and open space areas.  Responsibilities include mowing, shrub and flower bed management, playground maintenance, and park facility maintenance.  This Division also provides landscape and turf care for medians, streetscapes, rights-of-way, and manages the City’s forestry program.

Parks and Open Space Master Plan

The City prepares a Parks and Open Space Master Plan. This plan is updated every three years and is used for citywide and regional parks, trails and open space planning. As part of the planning process, projects are identified and prioritized for recommendation to City Council.
