Applications are accepted for open positions only. A
separate application or resume is required for each position for which you are
applying.
Due to the volume of applications received by the City,
individual contact with every applicant is not possible. For information

after the closing date of the position for which you have applied.
If You Are Selected
If you are selected for employment with the City, you will
be required to verify your eligibility for employment as required by the
Immigration Reform Control Act of 1986.
The City of Thornton conducts pre-employment drug testing and background investigations as a
condition of employment. Additionally, the City conducts job-related physical
and/or psychological testing for some positions.
