City of Thornton Holiday Closures

THORNTON, CO… Thornton City Hall, 9500 Civic Center Drive, will be closed Monday, November 12, to observe the Veterans Day holiday. City offices will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, November 13.

The Margaret W. Carpenter Recreation Center, Thornton Community Center, Thornton Active Adult Center and Thornton Arts & Culture Center will be open regular business hours on November 12. The Thornton Teen Center will be open 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. There will be no delay in Thornton trash/recycle collection.

City of Thornton offices will be closed on November 22 and 23 to observe the Thanksgiving Holiday and will reopen for normal business hours on Monday, November 26.

The Margaret W. Carpenter Recreation Center and Thornton Community Center will be closed Thursday, November 22, for Thanksgiving, and will reopen with normal business hours on Friday, November 23. The Thornton Teen Center will be open 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on November 23. The Thornton Active Adult Center will be closed both Thursday and Friday.

Thanksgiving week, Thursday and Friday city of Thornton trash/recycle customers will have a one day delay in service. Thursday customers will have their trash/recycle collected on Friday, November 23. Friday customers will have their trash collected on Saturday, November 24. All other city of Thornton trash/recycle customers are on a normal schedule with no delay in service.
