​Mitigation Action Workshop

The Large Planning Team convened to hold a Mitigation Action Workshop on August 3rd, 2016.  Attendees worked together to review proposed draft mitigation projects and brainstormed additional projects to consider.  The agenda and presentation is attached below.

Mitigation Strategy Kick-Off Call

A conference call was held on 6/30 with an expanded Small Planning Team to discuss development of the mitigation actions for the updated plan.  Staff from all three jurisdiction as well as some regional entities participated in this meeting.

HMP MAG Presentation

On Thursday, May 19th, 2016, staff from the cities of Thornton, Northglenn, and Federal Heights gathered with local stakeholders (including residents, non-profit organizations, and local businesses) to discuss the draft results of the multi-hazard risk assessment. The final risk assessment results will be used to develop hazard mitigation strategies for inclusion in the 2016 Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan.

Project Kick-Off Meeting

A project kick-off meeting was held on October 14th, 2015.  At this meeting, representatives from all three participating jurisdictions were present, along with their selected contractor who will be assisting throughout the project.
