Thorntonfest to showcase top local talents

THORNTON, CO…Thorntonfest has a reputation for offering great local musical entertainment, and this year is no exception! Thorntonfest is a day of family fun and entertainment held Saturday, May 17 from 10a.m.-5 p.m. on the Multipurpose Fields at 108th Ave. & Colorado Blvd in Thornton.

This year, local acts featured on the Marketplace Stage include Dotsero, Kory Brunson, Boogielicious, The Miles Apart Band, Pharaohs of Funk, and Face.

For the first time, Thorntonfest features a Battle of the Bands competition showcasing local youth bands that will get started between 10:30 and 11 a.m.  

There will also be performances by local dance groups and cheerleaders on the Dance Stage.
