Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Are you or your community group looking for
volunteer opportunities?
Help us make this program a success by contributing two Saturdays out of the year to help low-income, elderly or disabled homeowners in need rehabiliitate their homes. So come join in the fun and make your community beautiful!
What is “Rebuilding Days”? Rebuilding Days is part of the Neighbors Helping Neighbors initiative. It is an opportunity for community members to come together to help
low-income, elderly, or disabled homeowners rehabilitate their homes. Coordinated through Rebuilding Together Metro
Denver, teams of 20-25 volunteers will work one full day to repair a home at no cost to the qualified homeowner. The shared experience of dramatically improving the safety and the
quality of life makes Rebuilding Days a memorable volunteer experience and an
effective community building activity.

What kind of activities can I expect to do? Paint, replace light fixtures, install handrails or grab bars, install weather stripping, fix locks, trim trees, build handicap ramps and more!
Do I need construction skills? No! Just show up and be ready for a full day of work. Team leads will be there to provide guidance and instructions on how to complete your assignments.
