The form that follows uses your computer's email program to send the completed form information (just the data, not the form itself) to the City Clerk's office. It sends it as an attachment in a regular email message.
If your browser is configured to "know" what your email program is, then when you click the "Submit as Email" button at the end of the process, it will automatically open up a new email with the attachment already in place and the address on the address line. Simply send it as usual
If your browser doesn't know your email program, it might provide you with some options for how to respond...
- Choose from a list of email programs that MIGHT be on your computer -- if you recognize your email program in the list, select that.
- Choose from a list of Internet-based email programs. If you do your email through Yahoo email, Hotmail, or another Internet-based service, choose this. It will then prompt you to save the form information as a file and attach it to an email.
- If it can't do anything else, it will prompt you to save the form information as a file. Save it somewhere you can find it. Then -- on your own -- open up your email program, attach that file, and send it to cityclerk@cityofthornton.net.
NOTE: If you do not receive a confirmation message from the City of Thornton within two business days, we have not received your application. Please print the form, complete it by hand (or typewriter) and fax it to the City Clerk's office. The City Clerk fax number is: 303-538-7224.
