HighPointe Obelisque Goes Up

The landmark feature of HighPointe Park is drawing attention.

Passers-by may have noticed crews installing the large monument at the site located just east of Sam’s Club at Grant Street, west of Culver’s on Washington Street and bordered by 98th Ave to the north.  This obelisque is one of HighPointe Park development's identifying features.

HighPointe Park is an integrated, horizontal mixed use development. Once completed, it will have multi-family residential off of 98th Avenue; restaurants will line Washington and Grant and professional buildings create a semi-circle around the landmark feature.

Light posts, landscaping and monument signs are the next to be installed this spring.  According to the developer, we may also see some building structures going up in the near future.

Congratulations to the 2008 Thornton Business Excellence Award Winners!
