Adams County Economic Development, Inc. (ACED) is a nonprofit full service economic development organization serving Adams County. Predicted to be the fastest growing county in the state of Colorado over the next 20 years, ACED is dedicated to playing a leadership role in aggressively driving economic vitality and sustainable business development in the region. | | Better Business Bureau
The Denver/Boulder Better Business Bureau is registered in the State of Colorado as a business membership organization. Unlike a chamber of commerce, however, they have a strong component of their mission to serve the public at large. They are not strictly a "consumer advocate" nor are they a "pro-business" entity. In fact, their focus is on the middle ground between buyers and sellers: they work to create, support and maintain a safe, fair, thriving marketplace. | | | US Business Advisor
The U.S. Business Advisor was created by the Small Business Administration (SBA), the National Partnership for Reinventing Government (NPR), and an interagency task force.
These partners share the belief that government can be more customer-focused and user-friendly in helping U.S. businesses gain access to information and services from the government. Serving businesses on their terms - providing the right information at the right time and in the right format - is their goal! | | | Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade
To foster a positive business climate that encourages quality economic development through financial and technical assistance for local and regional economic development activities throughout the State of Colorado. The Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OED&IT) works with companies starting, expanding or relocating in Colorado. OED&IT offers a wide range of services to assist new and existing businesses of every size. | | Environmental Protection Agency
The Clean Air Act
Amendments of 1990 required that all States develop a program to assist
small businesses in meeting the requirements of the Act.
Since then, these programs have expanded to provide assistance in other environmental areas, including water and waste issues. EPA has established its own Small Business Assistance Program (SBAP) to provide technical assistance to these State small business programs. This site has been developed to allow State and EPA programs to share information about their small business assistance materials and activities. | | | Metro North Chamber of Commerce
The Metro North Chamber partners together help shape the North area's economy, promote community and business awareness and set the standard for success. Whether you are a one person home based business or major manufacturer -- the Metro North Chamber has a program designed to promote your success! | | Small Business Administration
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) was created by Congress in 1953 to help America's entrepreneurs form successful small enterprises. Today, SBA's program offices in every state offer financing, training and advocacy for small firms. These programs are delivered by SBA offices in every state, the District of Columbia, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. In addition, the SBA works with thousands of lending, educational and training institutions nationwide.
The Small Business Development Center
The
Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network is dedicated to helping small businesses throughout Colorado achieve their goals of growth, expansion, innovation, increased productivity, management improvement and success.
Thornton businesses utilize the SBDC located on the campus of the Front Range Community College.
The SBDC combines information and resources from federal, state and local governments with those of the educational system and the private sector to meet the specialized and complex needs of the small business community. Regulatory, management, financial and marketing experts work in partnership to provide entrepreneurs with crucial information that can mean the difference between success and failure. This partnership includes State of Colorado, the US Small Business Administration, Colorado's institutions of higher education, local economic development organizations and local chambers of commerce.
