Submission Process 

Please submit 3-5 images of  original work, including titles and prices (if selling); ATTN: Jesse Jimenez at artsubmissions@cityofthornton.net. Please include the name of the show in the subject line. For more information please read our Exhibition Information for Artists.

All submissions will be peer-reviewed and juried by an arts volunteer groups. Final decisions will be posted on our Events Page. Please remember to visit our website for a list of chosen artists and pieces.

Storm Drain Mural Project: Pilot Program​  Deadline Extended: June 30, 2018 
  • The City of Thornton Arts and Culture Division, in collaboration with the Engineering Services Division, are seeking volunteer artists to express themselves with semi-permanent public art in the form of small-scale, outdoor storm drain murals. 
Thornton Underpass Project: Pilot ProgramDeadline: June 19, 2018​      
  • We want your designs for a pilot mural project for the underpass at Carpenter Park; running underneath Colorado Boulevard on the east side of the field. This mural is intended to promote community pride, add to neighborhood beauty and prevent vandalism. Anyone can submit a design. Arts Thornton will pay for all supplies.
