The resurfacing of 120th Avenue from east of Washington Street to Grant Street, as well as the north leg on Washington Street, is complete. The old surface was milled down two inches and replaced with a new asphalt surface and fresh striping. The intersection work was done in cooperation with Northglenn.
This project concludes the 2011 Street Rehabilitation Program, which included 8.4 lane miles of hot chip installation, 6.6 lane miles of mill and paving, and 61 lane miles of crack sealing by outside contractors. In addition, Street Operations provided 62 lane miles of crack sealing and 3 lane miles of mill and patching.
