City of Thornton offices will be closed on November 24 and 25 to observe the Thanksgiving Holiday.  Thornton offices will reopen for normal business hours on Monday, November 28.

The Margaret W. Carpenter Recreation Center, Thornton Community Center, and Senior Center will all be closed Thursday, November 24 for Thanksgiving, and will reopen on Friday, November 25.

Thornton trash/recycle trash customers with a normal pickup day of Thursday or Friday will incur a one day delay in service the week of Thanksgiving.  Thursday customers will have their trash/recycle collected on Friday, November 25 and pick up for Friday customers will take place on Saturday, November 26.  Monday through Wednesday customers will be on a normal schedule with no delay in service.
