Today’s single use alkaline batteries (i.e. A, AA, AAA, C, D and 9 volt) may be placed in your normal household trash for disposal.   Call Tri-County Health Department 303-288-6816 for more information.

Rechargeable batteries may be recycled at the Radio Shack store (303-252-9889) in the Mission Trace Shopping Center (120th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard).
