  • Margaret W. Carpenter Recreation Center – 108th Avenue & Colorado Boulevard
  • Thornton Municipal Service Center – 88th Avenue & Colorado Boulevard
  • Fire Station #5 – 140th Avenue & Colorado Boulevard
  • Fire station #4 on 128th Ave. just west of Lafayette St.
  • North Star Park on the south side of 88th Ave. and a quarter mile east of Huron St.

 

Items accepted for recycling at these drop-off locations include...

  • Magazines
  • Office paper
  • Junk mail
  • Phone books
  • Paper board (cereal boxes, soda boxes, paper towel rolls, etc.)
  • Brown paper bags
  • Newspapers and inserts
  • Glass bottles and jars
  • Aluminum cans
  • Steel cans
  • Empty aerosol cans
  • Plastic containers 1-7
  • No Plastic Bags
  • No Trash

Glass Window Disposal

Flatirons Habitat for Humanity Thrift Store located at 6900 W. 117th Avenue in Broomfield, 303-404-2008, accepts double-paned glass windows in frames and the frames can only be aluminum, vinyl or wood.
