Thornton provides curbside trash and recycling collection to over 26,625 homes, as well as a number of other collection services for our citizens. The collection service operates as an enterprise fund — meaning that all costs are covered by user fees.

Monday, April 7 at 7:00 a.m.  This includes all customers who live south of 104th Avenue.  THIS AREA IS COMPLETE.

Monday, April 14 at 7:00 a.m.  This includes all customers who live between 104th Avenue and 128th AvenueTHIS AREA IS COMPLETE.

Monday, April 21 at 7:00 a.m.  This includes all customers who live north of 128th Avenue.

REMINDER:  Recycling is a twice a month service for City trash customers, not every other week.  For example: if your recycle collection schedule is every 1st and 3rd Tuesday or Wednesday of the month, and there are 5 Tuesdays and Wednesdays in April, your recycle will not be collected on the 29th or 30th.
