Thornton trash/recycle customers can call for a Special Pickup of bulk items too large to fit in the solid waste container. There is a fee for this service, and that fee depends upon the quantity of the load to be collected. This service is available on an "appointment only" basis, and collections are only made on Mondays or Wednesdays. The cost is just $58 per collection for 6 cubic yards of stuff, that would fill two normal sized pickup truck loads. Restrictions and limitations apply. The cost of service is placed on the next utility bill for payment.
