Colorado Rockies Baseball Skills Challenge

Ages 6 - 13.  The City of Thornton has teamed up with the Colorado Rockies to present the 2011 Baseball Skills Challengd, Sunday, May 15, 10 a.m. at Woodglen Park.  This free contest is open to boys and girls ages 6-13 (age on 12/31/11) who will be tested for distance and accuracy on throwing, hitting a baseball from a tee and how fast they can run from second base to third base to home.  Winners advance to sectional competition and possibly the State Finals.  Please email mike.coulter@cityofthornton.net or call 720-977-5914 for more information.  Register at the event starting at 9:45 a.m.
