This is an annual City project that upgrades playgrounds to meet ADA standards and replace deteriorating play equipment and playlot surfaces.  Playgrounds are evaluated and prioritized annually by the Parks Maintenance staff.  New engineered wood fiber surfacing was installed at Niver Creek Park and Colony Park's playgrounds, swings were added to the Highridge Court playground and the new Woodglen Meadows playground includes a fast 8' slide and two spinners.

The playgrounds at Parkridge Village and Hunters Glen Parks are scheduled for rehabilitation this season.  Neighborhood meetings will be held later this summer to gather ideas and opinions.
