Landscape and Irrigation Rehabilitation

This project funds the design and construction of annual landscape and irrigation system rehabilitation projects.  Areas are evaluated by Parks Maintenance staff and are chosen based on the degree of landscape degradation from dead and overgrown plant material and irrigation inoperability and inefficiency.

The first phase of the irrigation system replacement at Woodglen Meadows Park, 126th Avenue & Bellaire Street, has begun.  Phase two is scheduled to occur in the spring and early summer of 2013.  Final completion is expected in the summer.

Construction is complete and now under warranty on the City-maintained landscape and irrigation system in the right-of-way area between the curb and homeowner fences on both sides of 112th Avenue, between Holly Street and Colorado Boulevard.  The landscape areas in front of the Fire Station and Glencoe Park, and privately maintained landscape areas, were not a part of this project.
