This project funds the design and construction of annual landscape and irrigation system rehabilitation projects. Areas are evaluated by Parks Maintenance staff and are chosen based on the degree of landscape degradation from dead and overgrown plant material and irrigation inoperability and inefficiency.
Construction has started on replacement of the irrigation system at Holly Park, 110th Avenue and Holly Street. Completion is expected in early summer.
Construction is scheduled to begin in April on the City-maintained landscape and irrigation system in the right-of-way area between the curb and homeowner fences on both sides of 112th Avenue, between Holly Street and Colorado Boulevard and will be completed in the fall. The landscape areas in front of the Fire Station and Glencoe Park, and privately maintained landscape areas, are not a part of this project.
