In an effort to recognize people who are making a positive impact on the lives of others in Thornton, the Thornton City Council has established the "Thornton Notable Neighbors" program.

Individuals who live or work in Thornton are eligible for recognition for their dedication to improving the lives of their community and neighbors -- and for inspiring others to do the same.

The Thornton City Council will recognize individuals who meet the selection criteria at a Council meeting once each quarter. People selected as a Thornton Notable Neighbor will have their pictures placed on this Web page along with a write up detailing their contributions to the City of Thornton.
