Homeowners, condo owners and Homeowners Associations (HOA) are eligible to take advantage of the City of Thornton’s free graffiti removal program. In the summer of 2011, commercial property owners can also participate in the program.
The City code allows for the City to remove graffiti from specific property with the written permission of the property owner. The City will remove graffiti that is located on fences, walls, signs, garages and sheds that are adjacent to City streets, alleys, parks and trails. The graffiti removal program operates Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
To participate in the City's Graffiti Removal program, the property owner must complete and sign the waiver and consent form. This waiver allows a City staff to step onto the property to remove the graffiti.
