Creekside Place Opening Waitlist

Creekside Place Apartments will be opening their wait list on April 16th, 17th, 23rd, and 24th.  The wait list if for Project Based Section 8 apartment units, which limit rental payments to 30% of residents' income.  For more information click here.

Affordable Rental and Emergency Housing Information

The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) indicates that to be considered affordable, households should not pay more than thirty percent (30%) of their total annual gross income on rental and utility expenses.  Below is information on emergency and affordable housing services available to Thornton residents.   Some of the properties identified may have income or other restrictions.  This is available for informational purposes only.

Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program

The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program is funded by the federal government to assist very low-income families, elderly and disabled individuals and families to afford decent, safe and sanitary housing in the private market.
