GIS Data Submission Standards
Much of the information generated today is in some type of digital format ranging from word documents to Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) technology. The City of Thornton requires developers, consultants and engineers to submit subdivisions, asbuilt drawings, development plans or digital information generated by City consultants for Planning and Parks and Open Space projects. Geographic data submitted to the City must include geographic coordinates and standardized data types which can be uploaded into the City GIS. Please refer to the GIS Data Submission Standards for details.
