Councilmember, Ward 4
Randy Drennen has called the Colorado Front Range home for more than 32 years spending time in Lafayette, Fort Collins and Thornton. Randy and his wife Ellen married in 1999 and their three children (Connor, Ryan and Hollyn) moved to Thornton in 2002.
Randy graduated from Fort Collins High School before attending Creighton University and Colorado State University to study Business Management. Currently, he serves as the Information and Technology Manager for SEMA Construction, a Colorado-based heavy highway contractor located in Centennial.
Prior to being elected to Thornton City Council, Randy served his community as a Director and Vice President of The Haven at York Street HOA. Additionally, Randy has served as the chairman of the John C. Drennen Foundation awarding scholarships to deserving high school seniors. Randy also plays guitar at Crossroads Church, and can be found coaching baseball during the summer.
Growing Thornton’s economy through job creation, developing strong partnerships with the education community and strengthening Thornton’s neighborhoods are at the top of Randy’s priority list as he takes office. Randy is proud to represent the residents of Ward 4 and serve all the citizens of the Thornton.
