The entire community is invited to read the book To Kill a Mockingbird, a classic whose 1930s themes are relevant in this age of economic uncertainty. Then join us on Wednesday evenings for a variety of programs that explore topics from the book and historical era.
February 1: Film screening of O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000). This will be followed by an audience discussion on the topic Down to the River to Pray: Faith and the Great Depression.
Programming will take place from January to April at the Thornton Arts & Culture Center, 9209 Dorothy Boulevard. All programs begin at 6:30 p.m.
