The entire community is invited to read the book
To Kill a Mockingbird, a classic whose 1930s themes are relevant in this age of economic uncertainty. Then join us on Wednesday evenings for a variety of programs that explore topics from the book and historical era.
April 18: We’ll wrap up the program with an excerpt from the stage play, To Kill a Mockingbird. Actors will perform the mock trial scene, a final exploration of the themes surrounding the story and era.
Programming will take place from January to April at the Thornton Arts & Culture Center, 9209 Dorothy Boulevard. All programs begin at 6:30 p.m.
