It's time for the Third annual Community Tree Decorating Contest and we "ho-ho-hope" you
will join us! Everyone is invited to join in the holiday fun and add their
personal touch to this WinterFest attraction by decorating a tree in their
chosen theme or design. Awards will be given to Winners and runner-ups in five
categories; Individuals, Schools, Businesses, Organizations
(Churches/Nonprofits) and People’s Choice.
The winner of the Business
category will be presented with an award they can display at their business
location as well as an inclusion on a perpetual plaque to be displayed at
Metro North Newspapers Thornton office.
The tree contest is
displayed in the Wonderland Woods portion of Thornton WinterFest where all
festival attendees are invited to cast their vote for the People's Choice
award up until 5 p.m. on Saturday evening. Awards will be presented at the
Outdoor Stage at 6:30 p.m. that same evening.
