Benchmarks
To understand the City of Thornton’s benchmark
name/numbers, envision the City’s streets as a grid. The number to the left of
the hyphen represents the north/south position within the City (ex: 88- refers
to 88th Avenue, 104- refers to 104th Avenue etc.). The number to the right of
the hyphen represents the east/west position within the City (ex: -20 refers to
Huron Street, -50 refers to Colorado Boulevard etc.).
