The Primary Election will be held in Adams County on Tuesday, Aug. 12th. Voting will take place on that day at Adams County Vote Centers. Mail-in and early voting are also available for this election. You must be affiliated with a major political party participating in the primary to vote.


Mail-In Voting Information

Requests for mail-in ballots to be mailed to a voter must be received by 5 p.m. on Tuesday Aug. 5 at the Election Department, Adams County Clerk & Recorder, 1865 W. 121st Ave. Westminster, CO 80234.

Requests for mail-in ballots must be in writing and must contain the voter’s name, residence address in Adams County, date of birth, address to which the ballot should be mailed and the voter’s signature.

You may also walk in to obtain a mail-in ballot in person at the Election Department, 1865 W. 121st Ave., Westminster, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The deadline to pick up a mail-in ballot in person is Friday, Aug. 8 at 5 p.m. Mail-in ballots can only be delivered to the voter; they cannot be delivered to anyone else.

Drop-off locations for your mail-In ballot are open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
