Help make Thornton’s WinterFest Sparkle

Volunteers needed bring the magic of the holidays to life

THORNTON, COThornton’s WinterFest is a unique and fun experience for the whole family, and the talent of dozens of volunteers helps make this festival sparkle.

Thornton Arts, Sciences and Humanities Council (TASHCO) and the City of Thornton’s Arts and Culture Division are seeking volunteers to share their story-telling talents with children at WinterFest.  The ‘Holiday Traditions Around the World’ exhibit features story-telling and a lively puppet show. Volunteers can participate by reading or telling stories to the children or by providing the voice for a puppet.

WinterFest takes place at Thornton’s Multipurpose Fields located at 108th and Colorado Blvd. on:

  • Friday, December 12, from 6:30–9 p.m.
  • Saturday, December 13, from 10 a.m.–9 p.m.
  • Sunday, December 14, from 5 –9 p.m.

Performers will need to be available prior to WinterFest for a rehearsal session.

To volunteer, please contact Linda Lowe at 720-977-5866 or at linda.lowe@cityofthornton.net.
