Holiday food drive underway

The Thornton Firefighters annual holiday food drive is now underway. Food donations can be dropped off at any Thornton fire station until Monday, Dec. 15. The food will then be given to the Thornton Community Food Bank to be distributed to families in need.

Snowbusters wanted: Volunteers help neighbors in need

Winter is on the way, and while the snow isn’t here yet, Snowbuster volunteers are needed now. Snowbusters is a snow removal program that helps fixed-income seniors and disabled residents who can’t remove snow from their sidewalks.
