Thornton City Government
|
Incorporated in 1956, Thornton is a "home-rule" city, meaning that it has its own constitution and can make many of its own laws. Our nine City Council members, with the assistance of the City Manager and his staff, are responsible for setting policy, making laws, and developing goals for the city and its communities.
